Technorati is a pain to get out of, literally. Currently I'm trying to delete my old account, so that I could register with a new e-mail address to claim this blog.
After reading a few tutorials, I figured out that there IS no account delete option. Then how do you get rid of it? Well, to answer bluntly, you have to do it manually.
You have to contact their customer service, and then explain yourself well enough for them to let you go. Unfortunately, there's no other way. You can find the contact link at the bottom of their website.
